My Top 10 Anger Management Therapy

Alright alright...it's been a few days and my blogging self-mandate is again failing to comply. I didn't wanna blame my state of mind but it just couldn't be helped! I am realizing now that I cannot make a sound thought if my emotions are exploding into tiny pieces. (sigh)

I needed a few days to cool off an errupting volcano inside me.

As a result I was able to formulate my Top 10 anger management therapy...and here they are:

1.  Yogic breathing (I just invented that term but I think it does help to describe). Nothing can beat a 10 seconds-count of inhaling and exhaling after an hour or so of argumentation. This will help soothe the muscles of your face and calm down your boiling blood pressure.

2.  Cry by yourself in some place you are not seen. I do it and it works. Sounds dramatic but hey...your tear glands are helping you relax your mind. Notice that after you cry you feel sleepy. Well, that's it! You will fall asleep and forget about that heat up angst.

3.  Drink the coldest water you got at home. Fill your glass with ice cubes. If pleasure and vanity call, maybe a few cans of soda?

4.  Watch CSI:Las Vegas. In this moment of frustrations and stress a good forensic tv series can be an antidote. Seeing those dead bodies being examined in a criminal investigation just makes you feel guilty of whining over some domestic issues when most of the world suffers more.

5.  Binge on your fave chocolate bar. Yeah...chocolate bar. This is the sweetest revenge you can do without the trouble of casualty except for your own weighing scale. Goodluck on this but it worked for me.

6.  Call a friend. This could be an overrated step to take but it's always nice to be heard. And I mean...TO BE HEARD...and not be argued on whether you are right or wrong. Goodness!!! I wanted to vent and not be given some lectures. I don't need that at this time thank you.

7.  Shop. Hmm...this one I am not too sure made it better but to some (with extra funds) this might actually be a good medicine.

8.  Listen to good music...and I mean good music. It can make a huge huge change I'm telling you.

9.  Find a place where you can enjoy the peace and quiet just for a few minutes....just for a few minutes. I did mine inside the bathroom. A not so enticing place but I'm pretty sure you can find a better one.

10. Talk to Him. Just keep on talking. Until you feel you don't make sense anymore...He'll understand it better and then EVERTHING will just make sense outright.  You'll be surprised tomorrow's another sunny sunny day!!!

That's life. You gotta do what you gotta do!
