Deck the Halls with Boughs of Holly

It's been quite a while and really I couldn't feel any more embarrassed. But as they say, it's better than nothing at all. ;-)

Home and other family affairs do get your way to some of your personal fulfilling hobbies and I am not exempted from that. But here I am getting back on my foot.
So, I have  put up our Christmas decorations this year. Although, I won't say that this will be the final look it can stand for now and be subjected to your impressions. ;-)

I am prouder this year for most of the decorations were homemade by yours truly.

The first day of putting up using this ribbon.

To this, just a few nights back and changed it to blue complimenting the angel's color.

The mantle's dress; and if you notice that ribbon wreath on the mirror, that is made by me and was improved by my mom. It's a regular wired-edge ribbon from Costco we bought last year.

This is my biggest fave this year. I made our own tabletop christmas tree ornament. These would usually sell for $20-$30 in Target but we just did for about $5.

Here's another cute home made decoration that I so adore alot. I used twigs I found just outside our backyard; cleaned and peeled it off with a little scrubbing and painting. Voila! Here goes our home made table holiday tree with cardinals.

And here are some of the additions that I got from the Dollar Store. Our little manger and the nutcrackers. The swag was I would say, our splurge on decors last year from Costco. It's nice to spend a little once a while. After all, this kind of items do last a long time anyway.

So far, I haven't decided on how the hallway would look...although I have posted a snapshot in Facebook I think I will change it. For now, I really do feel it's Christmas in the triple J's abode.
