Halloween 2012

         Boo!!!!
I know...I know...it's a bit too late for that huh? Well, having been sick for a few days ate up so much of my free time to spend on this blogworld. Hence, this delay of posting my current articles (stay tuned for more updated stories on the current upgrades and reorganization of the spaces in our home that I have been so adamant to share with you all).  So without furthering the introduction, to keep up with the hype  for a few friends that have been waiting to see the oodles of ( I would say) good stuff I have put up for the kiddos' 2012 Halloween party,  here are the highlights of our annual cousins' event. Enjoy!

I missed uploading the 'before' picture of this opposite wall of the dining area. This wall was the home of our pinboard as I would like to call it. But because I wanted to see uniformity and balance in the flow of this white background I decided to mount photos of us on it. The theme was the 'Four Seasons' so if you'd be meticulous enough to notice...I have put on the most memorable shot for each season. Winter, Fall, Summer and Spring.

This centerpiece shows some elegance on top of these cookbooks beside my all-time favorite recorder.

This is a close look at the bouquet of maple styled flowers.

Now, these crows are I guess my favorites of all the additions in our Halloween paraphernalias this year. So those sort of trunks were twigs that I cut from one of the plants in the backyard and I tucked them in a small pot I found from our shed and hooked those two crows that I got for a whopping $1 each from where else...ha! Dollar Tree in the now small-looking stems. Voila! And to add some vibrance I added those fake pumpkins in glittery green and in matte orange beside the sort-of-dried tree. ;-)

I added a candle holder too to give more life to the creepiness. I threw some cobwebs and little spiders on it whilst I stuck on those white candles that I've dropped on some red candle melts (courtesy of a very good friend from work).

This is the mirror mounted on the wall just  beside the front door. I threw some webs again on this and taped that owl silhoutte and some spiders too for accents.

This is the fireplace with the cute scarecrows. And that wreath, that yours truly made from some leftover decorative stuffs.

This is the entry doorstep of the front door.

Our pumpkins for this year that we all worked on. Well, I did the carvings and the daddy and little princess did the painting. (Yeah...hard work are passed on this gal here. lol)

Notice the bats...thanks to that bat stencil I got from the web it sure added spookiness of the house.

There you have it! Our halloween escapades for this year. And of course, the sales racks from Walmart are overflowing with goodies again and I obviously didn't miss a thing. haha! I had another extra goody decor to add on for next year. ;-)

I hope you all did have a great and fantastic Halloween!
